A visit to Marwell Zoo
Not long after moving to Alton, Leanne and myself went to Marwell Zoo for the day. It's a large zoo, just off the M3 motorway on the way towards Southampton.
Wandering around the zoo, the weather was cold. It was winter. This meant that all of the animals were hiding away in shelters. However there were a few hardy souls about. For instance there were a number of little coatis. They had themselves a nice area to snuffle around.
The meercats seem to have been provided with a convenient means of keeping warm in the cold weather.
We have been a couple of times since then and taken plenty of photos, but so far I haven't got around to scanning them in and putting them on the web site. Oh well, maybe one day?
